A Tesla engine worker has died in a crash in northern New South Wales, the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) said on Saturday.
The WA Fire Service confirmed the death of a man at the scene, which was a rural road in the town of Cairns, at around 5:30am (AEDT).
The TESLA employee was travelling in the vehicle with another person when they struck the ground, the ATSB said.
He was taken to hospital in stable condition, but died a short time later.
There was no information available on a cause of the crash, which has been referred to the coroner’s office.
