A new method of fixing the issue on your Android phone has been announced, with Google claiming it will be available “soon.”
According to Google, this new method “fixes the touchscreen problem” on the device by allowing users to manually flip the touchscreen around on the screen.
Users can then turn the screen on or off with a touch, and the problem should be resolved without having to reboot their phone.
It’s unclear what will happen if you have the touchscreen on too long, but Google says it will fix it if you’re experiencing a “bad touchscreen experience.”
Google says it is working on a fix for Android 4.4, Android 4 and later.
Users with the latest Android software should be able to try out the new feature soon.
The latest Android versions are running on devices such as the Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 4 and the Pixel C.
