The U.K., the United States and Germany are the three worst countries in the industrial world, according to the Global Competitiveness Report, which evaluates factors such as productivity and competitiveness.

China and India, two of the world’s worst industrial nations, were also rated among the worst.
The U.N. Human Development Report, released earlier this year, showed that the U “has not lived up to its promise to create jobs and to provide a quality life for all.”
The report, which is based on surveys of more than 150 countries and the United Nations, said the world “has achieved the most sustainable development in more than a century.”
The report found that the world had reached a tipping point in the labor market.
The labor force participation rate has declined from 64.9 percent in 2013 to 59.6 percent in 2020, according a World Bank report.
The share of the population without a job has risen from 30.5 percent in the early 2000s to 31.7 percent in 2017.
The number of working-age adults has grown by just over half a million since 2010, according data from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
